Hey everyone, I hope your weekend was good !! I finally got the naked 2 palette today !! My boyfriend got it for me for my birthday that is coming up soon, I really didn't want it to go out of stock again so I got it early =]
I do have the Naked palette also and as I compared both of the packaging, it really doesn't matter to me, I like them both, I've traveled with my Naked palette before and I never had any issues with if opening or breaking. The Naked2 has a hard plastic casing and it seems very sturdy. The Naked palette closes with a magnetic lid and the Naked2 snaps close.
Both palettes come with 12 colors and if I am not mistaken the both include 5 colors that are exclusive to the palette. The Naked palette I purchased came with the double ended pencil(I got mines both they started selling it with that flat e/s brush) and the UDPP. The Naked2 comes with a double ended e/s brush and a mini lipgloss.
What do I think about the contains-
I love that it comes with a double ended e/s brush !! This makes traveling with the palette so much easier. You honesty wont need any other e/s brushes. All you have to do is wipe off the product and use it again. Also the flat side of the brush can be easily used for eyeliner.
The lipgloss doesn't really matter to me, its very cute and minty but I am not big on glosses that shiny and its not at all pigmented. I have naturally pigmented lips so there is not color payoff for me. On the other hand I am glad there wasn't another UDPP. My lids are pretty dry and I don't need a primer, all the palettes I have from UD have come with UDPP, so I have plenty and I don't need another =]
Color payoff is amazing !!!!! Although both palettes look similar in color selection, the Naked2 is much more taupe based colors whereas the Naked palette is much more warm tones. I can go on vaca with both these palettes and be set.
Half-Baked is repeated, I rather it not had been but its a beautiful color so why not. I would have love to see a brand new color so lets hope for a 3rd palette with all brand new colors =] The blackout color is amazing !!! I love it the best black I have ever used its better than MAC's Carbon, which I honesty think that they reformulated because it is not as pigmented as before.

I've been debating if I should get Naked 2 or not...
I was so tempted to buy this but since I have the naked 1, I thought it was kinda a waste of money. I do love the colours though, and I use my original Naked loads. Maybe one day....
